The Electrix – Wedding Band
Planning your wedding day is one of the most exciting times of a couple’s journey together. Once the marriage ceremony has finished, your entertainment becomes one of the most important elements of your night. The Electrix are an award winning band with a wealth of experience within the Irish music scene . Based in County Laois the band are managed and fronted by Damian Carroll on Lead vocals and acoustic guitar.
He is joined on stage by Colm Lindsay on Lead Guitar/vocals, who has toured and recorded with artists such as Nathan Carter, Lisa McHugh, Róisín O and Keith Carlock (drummer with Sting, John Mayer & Steely Dan). Colm is also endorsed and on the artist roster with Victory Amplifiers. On piano & keyboards is songwriter and multi instrumentalist Lenny Cahill who is a past student of BCFE. The rhythm section consists of Darren Sweeney on bass and vocals. Darren is a graduate of BCFE & BIMM and he has performed and toured with acts such as Picture This, Ryan Sheridan, Molly Sterling and James Blunt . On drums & percussion is Jonny Field who is also a graduate of both BCFE & BIMM.
The Electrix perform extensively at weddings, corporate events and also in some of the best live music venues throughout Ireland. The Electrix offer a setlist that caters for all tastes and ages. This can include everything from wedding standards to classic & modern chart hits
